The Shallaras pack the energy of a full band into a duo, combining the raw spirit of '50s and '60s Rock’n’Roll, Rhythm & Blues, and Garage with movement and dance that get everybody on their feet. Their live shows are lean and mean, lively, close to the audience, and full of rhythm. Let yourself be intoxicated.

Founded in 2023 by Australian singer Angela Cory and Italian guitarist Mauro Pandolfino, The Shallaras embrace an attitude à la Chuck Berry, Lavern Baker, Johnny Burnette, Eddie Cochran, and The Cramps. 

Angela Cory, born in Sydney, began in the Australian punk scene before fronting rockabilly and R&B bands. After five years touring in China with DJ DSK, she moved to Berlin where she worked in film soundtracks and later joined the blues scene, collaborating with musicians such as, Jan Hirte, Micha Mass and Roger Wade.

Mauro Pandolfino, guitarist and composer from Rome, spans rock’n’roll, blues, jazz, punk and electronic music. He has collaborated with artists including Dave Stewart, Saint Lu, Jesper Munk, and Soul Thrivers (Adam Sikora & Dvora Davis), as well as in the African music scene with Batila, Afrikadelle, and Carlos Dalelane.
